Mohammad Javad Hemmatpanah, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by a group of ambassadors based in Dar es Salaam, visited the residence of the President of Tanzania and offered his condolences to Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan on the passing of her husband, the late Mr. Hafidh Ameir Hassan. During the ceremony, he wished patience and fortitude for the President and the people of Tanzania. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, who welcomed and saw off the guests.
